- Program Description: Course Description 8-12-08 to 8-14-08
Participants will learn about gathering and preparing local plants, while weaving them into functional and decorative items. On the first day, you will learn how to twine a basket out of sea grass, day lily leaves, Northwest sedge, iris leaves, dracena draco, coconut fiber, and more. The next two days will be spent using your new skills to create a unique Garden Hat! You will also learn the additional techniques of twill twining and three rod waling.
