Fiberarts Studios

Barbara E. Cohen
New York, New York

My studio overlooks the high dunes of Provincetown, Massachusetts, with skylights and large windows allowing the cape light in from all angles. My favorite part of my studio: I have several tables on wheels that make it possible to work on all sides of the table, like in a large kitchen. I work on many projects at one time. I display nature forms for my inspiration, and the material I use for my sculpture is a plant product (Sesbania) I import by the thousands from Hanoi; it is grown in Asian wetlands.
