THE 4TH NATIONAL COLLEGIATE HANDMADE PAPER
ART EXHIBITION: 2008/9 TRIENNIAL. Call for
entries. Juried. Entry fee. Deadline October
13. Open to any enrolled 2007 and/or 2008
student in a program of associate, bachelors, or masters
degree in art. Entries are to be primarily constructed
of student’s own handmade paper. Entries will
only be accepted by digital image with a file size
maximum of 72 dpi. Images on CD will only be accepted
and will not be returned. The exhibition will jointly
be sponsored between Rutgers and the Corcoran College

CONNECTIONS: SMALL TAPESTRY INTERNATIONAL
2009. Call for entries. Juried exhibit. Digital
entry deadline November 30. American Tapestry
Alliance juried small tapestry exhibit (maximum size
100 sq. in. [625 sq. cm]). Artists are encouraged
to push the idea of connections with concepts, techniques,
other artists, the viewer, or other areas of artistic

FIBER DIRECTIONS 2009 NATIONAL JURIED FIBER
EXHIBITION. Call for entries. Entry fee.
Juried. Deadline December 15. Exhibit
to be held March 13–May 10, 2009 at the Wichita
Center for the Arts. Open to hand-woven or handmade
fiber forms. Entries may be represented by digital
photo in JPEG format, with images of all entries copied
on one single CD or emailed. Label each JPEG with
title and size (slides allowed but digital preferred).

OREGON COLLEGE OF ART AND CRAFT RESIDENT
ARTISTS. Call for applications. Deadline
March 1, 2009. The Oregon College of Art
and Craft (OCAC) Artist-in-Residence Program provides
emerging and nationally known artists with dedicated
time to immerse themselves in the making. Residents
have the freedom to explore, experiment, interact,
and create. The Junior Residency provides emerging
artists with sixteen weeks of focused work time during
the fall or spring semester. Applications are accepted
from artists working in a specified craft medium.
The College is now accepting applications for the
junior residency program. All selected residents will
be provided with nearby housing, a stipend, and materials
and travel reimbursement. Applications are available

ART QUILTS LOWELL 2009. Call for entries. Entry fee. Juried.

to Fall 2009, at The Brush Art Gallery, a nonprofit gallery and artist studio
complex located next door to the National Historical Park Visitor Center. Exhibit
