WEB-EXCLUSIVE Gallery:
Art Apparel in Transformation

The possibility of digitally printed textiles has opened new doors in the world of fiber art. In our September/October 2005 issue, educators J. R. Campbell and Jean Parsons share their technique of making uniquely shaped two-dimensional digital prints on fabric that translate into three-dimensional wearable pieces of art.

In the magazine, they discuss their techniques and the evolution of the project, show their students’ work in the technique, and discuss their future goals. Here they offer a unique view of the work in motion.
